The work of the kids and people at Mabry Middle school is amazing. Just yesterday, we, the M.A.T. English cohort, were talking about how to move students beyond working for a grade. The projects the students at Mabry did are perfect examples of that. I was surprised to see that Mabry Middle is a Metro Atlanta school. With all the negative media coverage of Georgia schools, one would think that all the schools are failing. It was wonderful to see a Georgia school doing something truly innovative and amazing.
